New media technologies practice question

Young people use digital television differently than there parents do, television has been almost the same for years but in recent times it has changed a bit more. Television is now availiable on the internet as well as on regular television, lots more young people use the BBC i-player service than older people. Young people are on the internet alot so it makes more sense for them to watch television online, where as their parents have grown up with television being a push technology so most of them still treat it like that.
However in some ways young people and there parents are the same because although young people watch television on the internet they still watch regular telvision as well, also not all adults watch regular digital television because internet television provides convenience for some people with busy lives and it's easily accessable to everybody.
In conclusion young people are more confidant exploring the newer formats of television but that does not mean that parents don't use those technologies.
